• The Marine Aquarium and Research Center (MARC): The Marine Aquarium and Research Center, MARC as it is popularly known is an outstanding tourist spot in New Digha. It is established in the year 1989 to educate people about the marine biodiversity of the region. It is the largest natural marine aquarium in the country which gives an opportunity to explore the aquatic life.
• Amarabati Park: It is a very beautiful place near New Digha. The scenic beauty of the park will make tourists feel relaxed and entertained. There is a boating facility where people can enjoy boat ride. Near this lake there is Deepak Mitra’s snake firm which is an additional attraction.

SCIENCE CENTRE

One of the chief attractions at Digha is the Science Center established by the National Council of Science Museums. This is a very good attempt to give some knowledge of science to children. A skeleton company during bicycle racing, a planetarium resembling an Eskimo’s Igloo is among the amusing mechanisms of the Science Centre. There are fun glasses which measure height, Jurassic Age Park is also an attraction of this centre (Jurassic park story on light & sound), and more fun scopes. The Science Center is opened to public on all working days from 9 A.M. to 7 P. M.

AMARABATI PARK

Amarabati Park is a very beautiful park near to New Digha. It is a very relaxing and entertaining spot. There is boating facility at the lake. Amarabati Park can be reached by walking approximately 5 min from new digha Sea beach.
